    New Hours & Location

    The Renaissance Room provides new and gently used clothing, accessories, and shoes at no charge to students in need. The room is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 3pm in the Rear Sale Hall Annex at the end of Lee Lane.

    The Experience

    At Morehouse, we believe every student should have the opportunity to show up with confidence no matter their financial circumstances.The Renaissance Room is our on-campus clothing boutique offering free suits, ties, accessories, and hygiene products to current students. It鈥檚 more than a wardrobe, it鈥檚 a commitment to dignity, preparation, and breaking down economic barriers to success. From class presentations to career fairs, every Man of Morehouse deserves to look and feel his best!

    Want to support? We鈥檙e calling on alumni, donors, and corporate partners to donate new or gently used haberdashery and hygiene items to help our students dress for every occasion with confidence.

    renaissance room styleRoom Attendants are available to assist students with essential measurements and professional styling advice, all while having a positive and productive experience.

    Donations of "ready-to-wear" clothing must be on hangers, freshly laundered, free of stains and odors (smoke-free), new or gently used without rips or signs of excessive wear. We also welcome new/unopened hygiene products. Drop-offs can be made during open hours.

    2025-renaissance-room-e-board-02We welcome Morehouse alumni and parents with retail experience and fashion prowess to volunteer in the Renaissance Room. Skilled tailors are needed for minor alterations. Volunteers are also needed to assist with researching retail partnership and business sponsorship opportunities.

    The Renaissance Room will soon be able to accept monetary donations to assist with cleaning, basic upkeep, and promotional needs (ie multipurpose cleansers, trash bags, signs, steamers, sewing machine, bottled water for attendants, etc).
